URL Remover is a program that can remove URLs from your Internet Explorer address bar.
This popular browser stores a list of recently visited sites. Using the addresses contained in that list, the program can suggest complete URLs that you can use just by pressing the ENTER key, without having to type them completely.
But, sometimes, you would like to remove some URLs from that list, for any reason. As this feature stores the URLs for a limited time, you may want to clear from the list some URLs that you will not use, in order to have enough space for those addresses that you do use. You can also wish to delete URLs that were mistyped, or just avoid others to know you used a computer to access certain websites.
That´s why QuinqSoft developed this free program in 1999, to remove undesired entries from the Internet Explorer address bar. This utility still works great even with the latest version of this browser. By pressing the "List" button you will see a list that will show you the URLs that IE remembers. You can point and select any entry that you want to delete, or just delete them all.
This handy applet allows you to remove superfluous URLs from your address bar in Microsoft Internet Explorer.
